The balancing Game

One day, while watching Shark Week, Jake came up with this brilliant idea that we should see who could balance the longest on our exercise ball! So we all took our turn.

This was the only picture I took of the event. The rest are videos.

The first video is my favorite. It's TJ with his awesome attempt. The second is Careena's attempt. The third is Danielle's attempt. And the fourth is Jake's awesome backflip!

Dance Competition

At ice skating, they had a dance competition. Jake entered it. He was the only one that danced the whole time. It was awesome. But he only got third place for some reason... maybe because he was so old... His prize was the awesome "hipster" glasses in the last post.... They were just 3D glasses with the lens popped out. hahahaha.

So the original plan was to go roller skating at skate daze. but, then michael found out that it was cosmic skating at tranquility. so we decided to do that instead. Jake, Lorin and I were there first. We went up to the front doors. there was a police man there. He stopped us and asked us how old we were. We responded 22. And he said... you know, it's teen night, right? We stopped and looked at him. We said. Oh, really? Ok. We started to turn to leave and he said that we could look around and see how it looks to us. He explained that they turn the lights down and have the music going. I don't think he expected us to stay after we saw that there were tons and tons of teeny boppers. But we had a large group of people. Big enough to make it fun no matter the circumstances. So we stayed. It was pretty funny being surrounded by the kiddos though. It made me glad I am out of that stage of life.

My wonderful Nephews!

Lumberjack Partay!

We found these cones on top of a building. so Lorin climbed up to pose for a picture.... and steal one... which we never actually did.

Doners!!!

Ok. So. We often times like to go down to Dundee to the Amsterdam Cafe. They have doners. And they are amazing. I love them so much! Anywhos.... This time that we went.... The guy that made them was gorgeous he reminded me of Simon, my host brother when I went to Germany. I wanted to take a picture to show Careena since she couldn't make it with us. I went to take the picture and the flash went off. He definitely saw it. And he looked at me and chuckled a little bit. I immediately threw my hand down to hide the fact that I was trying to take a picture. And I turned around. I know I turned beet red. It was so embarrassing. I'm scared to go back when he's there. Scared he'll see me and remember that I was that creeper girl who attempted to take his picture. Well. This is the result:

This dog was awesome. He could do addition and subtraction! You just give him a problem, and he lifts his paw with the answer. In this video, he kind of doubted himself so he actually got the answer wrong. I think it was the pressure of everyone staring at him, and that I was video taping. That's a scary thing!

June

I didn't feel like having separate posts for everything that happened in June. So I put a few randoms together.

We went to Papillion Ampitheatre to watch the Princess Bride. Everyone wore yellow for some reason. They were all mustard and I was mayonaise. They are eating me. Because I am better than them.

This is when we kidnapped James! It was awesome. I called him and talked to him the whole way to his house. and to get him out, I told him the moon looked amazing and he needed to look. and he did. and i said. he needed a closer look. and so he went outside. so then i told him he needed to climb a tree to get a closer look. (thinking he was walking out his front door and would walk to the front tree...he was in the back) so then i told him he needed to go out his front door because that is closer to the moon than the back of his house. so he did. and we kidnapped him. also. he thought when he first saw me that i was his grandma... bahahahahahaha.

We really enjoy being little kids and doing little kid things. So we got some chalk and started drawing away. We each drew an elephant. Who's do you think is the best?
