Before Family Home Evening, we had extra time, so we decided to go shopping at Walmart to get costume ideas for Halloween. I found this awesome hat and put it on TJ.

Careena and I found this little guy in the kitchen in the intitute. Adorable!

After Family Home Evening we went to Fudruckers! It was my first time. And it was so good!!!!

Push Pin Scavenger Hunt!

Careena and Lorin went to a concert one night so TJ and I decided to do something without them. I didn't get off until 10 and nothing is open after that, so I decided we were going to go on a scavenger hunt for the Push Pins through out Omaha!

Best Dad Ever

my dad is working from home today. I am watching Grey's Anatomy in my bedroom. He went downstairs to eat some lunch. Then he just walked all the way upstairs into my room and said "random thoughts...." then held up a sale add for vacuums and said, "do you see this? doesn't it suck? a sale that sucks! random thoughts.. random thoughts..." and then walked away....

seriously. my dad is the best. he always makes me laugh. :) i love him so much!!!

Creepy Cat

Ok. So. One day, TJ and I went to Walmart. We were looking in the clearance section when we found this cat. It told me to pet it.... Nothing happened. While I'm focusing on trying to get my cat to aknowledge my presence, TJ jumps a little and makes a startled noise. I looked at him in surprise. He informed me that the cat that he was about to pet blinked at him. I did not believe him. So we both stared at it for a while. I then reached my hand up to pet him, but before my hand got to him, he blinked. It was by far the creepiest blink I have ever seen. I quite literally screamed and jumped backwards at least a foot. I started to walk away, as if to walk the creepiness away. But I was intrigued and came back for more. It eventually blinked again. It was a very creepy blink. I think it's batteries were low because it was slow. Well. We took Lorin back a few days later to show him the creepiness we had talked about non stop. I got a video of it. I promise, it was creepier.... though, it could have been that it was two in the morning and we were both sleep deprived...

I'm so sad I didn't get my camera out sooner. This was so funny. Watch it twice. Watch Lorin one time and watch TJ another time. They both crack me up.

Can I just say that I love Emily to death? She has gotten me through so much in the past year. We have really grown close to each other. I have never been so spiritually in tune with another person. She is amazing. It's been such an amazing year watching her grow and mature so much! She is my best friend and I love her through thick and thin! I'm so glad she has Cameron. He has changed her for the better. She is such an amazing woman that I really admire. I'm so thankful for her! :) She was an amazingly beautiful bride!
