Random Happenings of May!

Lorin learned how to freak Lauren out.

I got my business cards!!!

Sam and I ate ring pops and got blue mouths!

We went to BWW and Ryan finished all of his food!!

My adorable nephew, Evan George was born!!!

We had a bonfire at Sams house.

We had a Toga party and I received some blackmail pictures from my daddio!

Imagine Dragons!!!!

We all decided to go to an Imagine Dragons Concert one night. Some of us had heard of them before, but most of us hadn't even heard any of their music. The lead singer is LDS and he served his mission here in Omaha! It was really fun to see them. They were really great and now all of us are obssessed with their music. I'm not kidding. We all listen to it all the time. We all follow them on facebook and twitter and everything. We are pathetic. But dudes, you should give them a listen. They are kinda indie, so idk if you like that style. But you should most def. give them a shot.

 part of our group
the last time i will ever have big black marks on my hand at a concert!!!
He plays that huge drum next to him.
see the drumstick in his hand?
our group. with two of the imagine dragons!
We were extremely close.

Seriously guys, this was the best concert I've been to.... And I've been to a weezer concert. (for those of you who don't know they are my all time favorite band) They were just so fun to watch!

Review of the last few months...

Well, since I fail at keeping up at blogging, I thought instead of posting a million new posts, I would just combine them all into just a few posts. We will start with Easter......
TJ hasn't dyed eggs in a long time.... which is sad... cuz I do it every year! haha. WE had lots of fun dying them, even though it doesn't look like it in any of these pictures.

Our End Product!

Now moving on to the saddest roadtrip of my life!!! Taking TJ up to school. :(

Wyoming is the worst to drive through..
He's so cute when he sleeps..... and when he's awake too. :)
 I absolutely love the mountains!!!!!!
I seriously cannot wait to be closer to the mountains.
While we were there we had some fun. We chilled, I went wedding dress shopping, we ate tons of food, and I got to meet some of his amazing family.

Here is his adorable niece. It took her all weekend to warm up to me. And sadly when she finally did, it was ten minutes before we left. :(

One of my favorite restaurants. Famous for their pie shakes! :) I'm so glad there is one in Rexburg now!
We attempted to go visit some waterfalls, but this is as far as we got. Luckily, a random truck came to our rescue to help us out of the snow. It wouldn't be a trip to idaho if we didn't get stuck somewhere!
Cameron and Emily were nice enough to cook us a Sunday dinner. After dinner we played UNO and watched a few movies. Obviously I won at UNO. :P

Before we went back down to Provo, we went to Big Judd's to get a ginormous burger!!!! It was fun! :) I'm glad Rexburg has some fun people, places, and food to visit! I can't wait to move up there!

Calling the Temple

Well, once we got engaged, we realized the temple would be closed for cleaning for the next two weeks. Perfect timing, eh? We called as soon the temple open to schedule our sealing! :) This is my amazingly good looking fiance calling the temple for us. :) sighhhh.... He's so great!

And of course, I just have to practice writing my soon to be new name!!!!

Oh, I have a fiance now.... no big.

:) TJ proposed to me!!! On the Ides of March. :) He is adorable. So here's the story:

Well. You need the back story first. On our second date, we went on a scavenger hunt to find all of the Omaha Push pins. The first place we went was Boys Town. We could not find that pin anywhere! So we went on and looked for the others. Through out our relationship we have found more and more push pins. It's our ongoing scavenger hunt. We have gone back to Boys Town to find that pin several times. We have never been able to find it.

He picked me up from my house after work. We went to his house so he could change. I wasn't really feeling to well so when he asked if I was ready to go out for dinner I really didn't want to go. I could tell he was sad about it, so I said for us to go anyways. On our way down to Boston Market, he asked me if I wanted to find the Boys Town Pin since it was daylight. I said sure but I said we should do it after dinner since he was hungry now. He turned off anyways. We drove right to the pin. When we got out of the car, I started walking towards it. I reached out to grab his hand and he spun me around and got down on one knew and asked me to marry him. :) Of course I said yes! We took pictures with the ring and at the pin. It was an on going scavenger hunt to find the ring! haha.

The ring was very big so we took it right in to be sized. Since we didn't have a ring then, we didn't feel like we were engaged so we went to Walmart to get a fake ring. Don't worry. The ring pictured here is the real ring. He did so well! He picked it out all on his own. :)

I love him so much! I am so lucky to have him in my life. He makes me so happy. I cannot wait to spend eternity with my best friend!!!

ZOO!

Dr. Suess's Birthday!

In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, we made green eggs and ham! ok ok, so bacon isn't ham... but it IS from the same animal!

Dancey Dance

Weird Faces. hahaha. We went to P.F. Changs for dinner. We felt like we were in highschool going to prom again. haha.
At the dance.

Chicken Cordon Bleu and Interventions

We made chicken cordon bleu roll-ups. They ended up looking funny. But they tasted great!
We decided to have an intervention. :) This is a How I Met your Mother reference. Here's the clip. Sorry, It's all shaky. But it's still SO FUNNY.
This is his reaction. So funny.

Star Wars

We went to Star Wars Episode I in 3-D. The 3-D Glasses were epic!!! They had darth maul on the side!!! TJ and I bought our tickets at the kiosk so we didn't get the cool glasses. And I was really sad about it. So after the movie, Lorin went into the recycle glasses box and found some for us!!! :)

Another Lancers Games

We got another buy one get one deal for a lancers game so of course we had to do it!

The bird came right up to our section!!!

Favorite Picture

This is one of my all time favorite pictures. And here's why:

1. It's a picture of my brother and I, which believe me, there are not very many of those.
2. He and I spent six years together without our other siblings around. I feel we became much closer in that time despite our age difference.
3. Even in our later years when we were actually friends, in all our pictures together we look like we don't like each other. (Even though we mainly just did it as a joke)
4. I love my brother so very much. And This picture is so full of love. (I love my other siblings just as much)
5. This is the FIRST picture taken that he actually likes me. In every other picture before this he seems very upset that I exist.

I love him so much! He is an amazing man. He is such a great example to me in all that he does. He really is amazing. I am so grateful to have such wonderful siblings.

Hangin' Out

Sunday's are the best days. We get to go to church and feel the spirit and then we have the whole day to just relax. On this particular sunday, we spent time looking through some one photo albums.
Then we played our regular sunday game of Killer Bunnies!!!

Blue Man Group!

Before we went to Blue Man Group, we decided to go to Fudruckers for dinner. Fudruckers is SO delicious! We tried it in October and fell in love with it. It's a little pricey though so we don't go very often.
This is a brand new Fudruckers and they have this 100+ flavor pop machine! It's touch screen so you touch the brand you want. And then you pick with flavor you want with it. Or you can fill your cup and add your own Hi-Cee flavoring. SO COOL!
oh my goodness. SO GOOD. Now that I'm looking at it, I'm craving it now.... too bad we won't be having it for quite some time! :(
At the Orpheum. Isn't he so handsome? I love him so much!
The Beautiful Orpheum!!! P.S. If you ever have the chance to go see Blue Man Group, GO!!! It was so amazing! They are so hilarious! Seriously. GO!
