Surprise Date

mark is enjoying that sandwich that i made for him.

bridal veil falls

there were a few mines around the trails.
scavenger hunt. unhappy child.
sunglasses... with like three policemen right next to us. you can see one of their legs in the mirror above us in the left corner.
in a bathroom stall. mark took like three or four pictures. it was hilarious.
buying a gumball. THE COOLEST GUMBALL MACHINE EVER!!!

trying a sample.... we decided this is an ad.. it goes like this "See's makes everything clear."
kissing a mannequin on the cheek. he was a very tall mannequin.
giving dolls a piggy back ride... also.. woody is hitting on jessie there... look at the hands..

so. we were supposed to go horseback riding. but bro. o'connell called and canceled. :( so alli and i kidnapped mark and kevin and took them on a surprise date. we first went to bridal veil falls. where we had a picnic and enjoyed the scenery. then we went to the mall for a scavenger hunt. and then we went to a place called "The Chocolate." It's a dessert cafe. it was adorable. it was in a little victorian house. it was fun. and we finished off the date by red boxing planet 51. it was cute.

1. Bridal Veil falls makes me think of that story by Jack Weiland (lean on me....i think) where the guy proposes there, she thinks its a joke and flings the box over the falls, when it was really for real.
2. I used to love doing scavenger hunts in college....maybe it's time to bring them back.
